As for KT’s reply, this may be helpful although looking through the supported model listthere is no listing for the MP C but there are other pcl5f, such as the Aficio MP C PS, and this may work, providing your model has PostScript if it is optional. What type of interface between your iMac and the Ricoh ricoh aficio mp c4000 pcl5c To help you select the correct driver and network connection my suggestion would be to have a look at one of the Windows computers. I installed it in the correct order, then choose the printer using HP C4000, then choosing the MPC PXL which I pclc must be the one that has just been installed but it still says it’s unable to connect to the printer?

I doubt that the PostScript option is installed in ricoh aficio mp c4000 pcl5c OP’s printer. The message re cannot connect could be related to the protocol used to create the network queue or an incorrect queue name was used if the protocol was correct.
It would be hard to make sure that you choose a compatible model.
